    Description

Here's an 1850s early ironstone china cup & saucer with matching Chelsea Grapes pattern emb and having a pink luster color.....only mark is an impressed letter P on bottom of saucer.....pink luster colored grapes in raised relief around the cup & saucer....arched panels handleless 3 1/4"tall cup is unmarked.......saucer is 6"across....both are in excellent shiny nice condition with only one chip on bottom of cup. Sparkling clean with no stains. We will be listing a very similar Edward Walley marked Chelsea Grapes cup & saucer from this same set. A couple pieces from this same set were registry dated 1856, so I'm sure this handleless cup & saucer were made in the 1850s or early 1860s......
