    Description

    Good afternoon from Congers, NY.  I was excited to pick up this unusual Staffordshire figure the other day.  He has a few war wounds, but he is quite presentable, and fills a difficult spot in a Staffordshire collection.  I'm unsure what he's worth, so I'm doing this as an auction as opposed to a "Buy It Now".  Thank you for looking in and happy eBaying!
    Antique (C. 1840's) Staffordshire figure of "Hamlet", with skull.  He stands appx. 8.75" tall, 4" across the base, 3.25" front to back.  His head has been reglued after a break.  His hand, pointing to poor Yorick's skull, is a bit broken (see photos).  I believe that this is a model showing the actor John Philip Kemble in the role, I may be incorrect in that.  The colors are bright and varied... dark blue coatm red and green striped pants, liberal gold trim, and the jaunty orange and green plumes on his cap.
    Offered for auction with an opening bid of .76.  Buyer to pay Medium Priority Mail Flat Rate shipping; I pay any postal overcharge or insurance.  If the item costs less to ship than anticipated, I issue a full pro rata refund automatically.  I don't end auctions early, no "Buy It Now" option.  If you have any other questions, feel free to send them over.
