This antique Staffordshire English copper luster pitcher has been well-preserved. The raised ornamental Greek mythology relief by hand detailing speak for itself in this truly one of a kind piece, which measures 10" wide and 6 1/2" deep.
HISTORY OF COPPER LUSTER WARE
During the 1820-1860 periods there were a number of Staffordshire factories producing these luster pieces. Attribution to specific potters was not really possible since most luster ware pieces of this vintage were unmarked.
