2 19th C. Blue Staffordshire Platters

This listing consists of 2 antique Staffordshire Blue Platters from the mid 19th C.
Each one has some damage as noted in the photos.  The glaze and general condition is good - each displaying some knife marks that are not prominate. The glaze on each
Platter is quite good.
The first platter measures 19 x 15 & is in the “Compton Verney” view by Henshall & Co. It is part of the British View series featuring a mansion & lake with boaters. Two hunters are resting with their 2 dogs & game birds at their feet. All in all a great piece that needs some TLC. However, for display purpose, this piece will show well!
The second platter also measures 19 x 15 & features “The Villagers” by Davenport & is also part of the British Views featuring a young man with a pipe with a maiden & child looking on. A dog gazes at the lad with his pipe. Certainly, a great piece too. This platter will also display well even with the noted damage.
