    Description

    2 Gaudy Dutch
    Gaudy Welsh
    7" & 6" Bowls Unidentified Pattern
This is an unidentified Gaudy Dutch pattern even though the terms Gaudy Welsh & Dutch are often interchanged. The bowls are in pretty nice condition for their age & use. There is some wear to both bowls and the 7" bowl has a tight hairline on the rim, see photos. The 7" Soup bowl has a number 8427.  The 6" Fruit bowl number 8429 and has a tear in the clay body on the foot rim that has been glazed over at the factory.
I think this is an unidentified Gaudy Dutch pattern as it is lighter in weight yet still translucent like soft paste porcelain. These wares made about 1790-1825.
Last photo, this is a flash light shining thru the body of the bowl. After 1820 a translucent porcelain, much like soft paste was made but it's usually heavier & thicker than the Gaudy Dutch wares. Both Gaudy wares are translucent when light signs thru.

    I do COMBINED SHIPPING!
If combining shipping please "send request for combined shipping invoice" with revised shipping cost BEFORE you pay! I can not adjust shipping once you pay!!!! It appears Ebay does NOT automatically credit back their commission on the shipping fees that they charge me and Paypal doesn't refund any fees at all anymore!
    U.S. Shipping only...No International Shipping.
Hawaii & Alaska quoted shipping fee with insurance so please request an invoice to pay from. If shipping cost do not cover Hawaii & Alaska I will need to send you another invoice for additional shipping charges.
For the most part on bigger heavier items I calculate shipping from the West Coast California to the East Coast as worst case scenario. If you are on the West Coast or Midwest and want a better shipping cost estimate then just email me with zip code BEFORE you pay. Once you pay I can't adjust the invoice!!! The Post Office Shipping just went up again in January and I try very hard to ship as cheap as possible yet safe and arriving perfect.
