The view is of his victory against the British during the War of 1812, Battle of Plattsburgh? . The piece was made between 1818- 1846 by Enoch Woods , Burslem , England . The piece stands approximately 11 1/4 inches tall to top of the finial on the lid. The finial is in excellent condition, but the lid has 2 large chips (repaired ) on the underside , not seen when lid is on base. There is a fracture in the lower handle( pictured), but the handle has never been broken off. There is a repaired rim chip also it is also pictured. All of these repairs are hard to see. The spout is in great shape except for glaze pop on top of spout. It has some crazing and no discoloration except in the repaired areas. Email me if you have any questions.
