    Description

    Antique 11" Staffordshire Porcelain Pottery Colorful Character Toby Mug 1885 with 'Hearty Good Fellow' painted on base..This is a wonderful Antique English Porcelain Staffordshire Toby Mug with great Colors and has a Vibrant look for the age. Research tells us this dates in the 1880's and he is in perfect Condition with light crazing in the glaze but does not show unless you get very very close to him. For his age he looks superb and one of the nicest examples we have had. He is holding a jug of ale in one hand  and a pipe in the other. Like his brothers he is unmarked. We found several close examples of him online but we think he is the most charismatic version we could find. A wonderful item for the Toby Mug or Staffordshire collector. No chips, cracks or restorations.
