Description

Superb 19thc Staffordshire figure of a milkher with cow.  Dating c.1870's.
Excellent attention to detail.  Figure of milkherd and cow in white with gilt decoration.  White jacket and trousers decorated with gilt decor.  He has dotted nostrils and red lips.  The cow has pink nose.  Naturalistic base with stream running through.
Measures some 8.25" height.
Condition: The milkherd's head has been reattached and the cow has lost its horns.
