    Description

    A beautifully detailed antique lusterware tea cup and saucer set with grape motif. Incredibly light porcelain. Color is pinkish purple or lavender with shiny copper overtones. Also hand painted with fine matte red dots and lines that fill in the leaves and grapes. Not marked with the maker. Most likely made in England (Staffordshire or Sunderland) in the early 19th century.
    The cup measures 3-1/4” in diameter x 3-7/8” W with handle x 2 3/16” high. The saucer measures 5-1/2” in diameter x 1-1/8” high.
    In good preowned condition. There is one very fine, hairline crack on the cup, about 1 inch long from the top edge down. See last image for details—image shows the cup held up to a light source. No chips on the cup. No chips or cracks on the saucer. The paint has some minor wear but not much!
