Antique Rare Staffordshire Right Facing Lounging Cat Figurine.
This is a truly nice, older Staffordshire piece that has a lounging Regal looking cat facing right with a ball or roll of yarn between it's paws. The coloring is exceptional. The only signs of wear or damage is the overall crazing which is common for these items, a hairline at the back on the bottom bed area which is through the glaze but does not appear to go through all the way. There is a spot of glaze coloring on the side by yarn ball which ran during firing.
Measures 9 1/2 inches wide or long by just under 6 inches high.
