    Description

    Antique Red Transferware Overpainted Pitcher C.P. Co. Marked “Oriental “. Aesthetic Movement.
    Design is of peonies and lilies and Asian fencing. There is molded designing in the piece -at the handle - grape clusters and leaves - and the handle itself is sculpted lite branches and has a luster glaze. Red transfer borders at top and bottom.
    8 1/2” tall. Has some crazing around the spout and light staining there. No chips or cracks.
    Charming piece from latter part of 19th century.
