    Description

    Offered for sale is a wonderful antique 2-color black & blue transferware plate manufactured in Staffordshire, England during the early to mid 1800s.  The plate is in the Valencia pattern and it is stamped on the back with the pattern name and maker's name Overall the plate measures approximately 10 7/8" in diameter.
    The overall condition of the plate is very good.  It is clean and has no chips, cracks, or repairs.  The white earthenware is still quite bright and the colors have nice contrast. The glaze is glossy with minimal crazing and there is some minor rubbing and glaze loss to the edge. The surface has minimal scratches. The plate displays extremely well and would be a nice addition to any collection or home! Please be sure to check out my other auctions for more great items!
