Description

Antique vegetable bowl open large Aesthetic transferware black brown birds fish urns luster on a white ironstone base. This beautiful and very hard to find pattern ( TYCOON ) was manufactured in Staffordshire by Powell Bishop circa 1879. The vegetable tureen oval in shape, and is approximately 11 3/4 inches wide x 8 3/4 and 2 1/2 inches high.
Condition is very good, no chips no cracks, no hairlines etc., Rub your hands around the rim, there is some glaze wear and a few divits, inherent in the manufacture. This tureen is over 150 years old which will show some imperfections upon close inspection. Please
