    Description

    Cauldon Green & Raised Gold Scrollwork Demitasse Cup & Saucer Circa 1890-1904
    Pretty bone china demitasse cup and saucer. Decorated with a wide band of green with gold gilt leaf scrollwork and raised gold scrollwork overlay. With a band of gold scrollwork encrustation along the edge and a band of gold encrusted circles below the green. With raised gold scrollwork and gold beaded garlands over the white portion. Marked on the bottom Cauldon England in black. This mark was used between 1890 to 1904. Also has an importer / retailer mark on the bottom for S & G Gump & Co San Francisco.
    Has some minor wear to the gilding and usage wear to the center of the saucer, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
    The cup measures approximately 2 7/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 7/8 inches tall.
    The saucer measures approximately 4 3/4 inches wide.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
