    Description

    Up for auction we have this Historical Staffordshire dark dark blue plate in the "States" pattern by Clews. A nice deeper blue than what you normally see with crisp transfers and a shiny glaze. It does have a few pin head size wear marks on the back rim and a faint crows foot on the back. It is slightly noticeable on the front but would disappear with a cleaning that we could have done for you. Just let us know. It measures 6 5/8" in diameter and dates circa 1825.
