    c1830 Staffordshire Black Transfer Ware Covered Serving Dish Flowers & Sailboat
    Wonderful early covered serving bowl from England, circa 1830. Black transfer
    design with central lake scene with sailboat surrounded by exotic flowers and birds. Ornate handles and finial. Marked only with impressed s type mark.  Measure about 9-5/8" by 12-3/8" and 5-3/4" high. Selling matching pieces in separate auctions.
    Condition:
    very nice, strong color, no cracks. Small chip on finial. Some missing or worn glaze spots.
