    Description

    Pearlware type pitcher, 7.5". The body is gravel-pebbly finish.  There is a smooth top dark brown black band, 1.5", decorated with yellow brush stroke clusters.  The body is extensively brush stroke painted with green leaves, yellow flowers, black stems and a reddish design, possibly thistle.  There is an old professional repair to the lip, extent not clear but would guess about a third.  Not easily seen.  The base shows a couple of very tight hairlines. Nice strap handle.  A very striking early 1800s pitcher that would be a stand out in any collection.  Priority shipping to US only.
