Description
Was told this came out of the Cedar Rapids Quaker Oats Plant during a major remodel long ago. It is the cast iron door to a heating appliance of some sort.Dates to probably to the late 1800's and closely resembles the Quaker logo used from 1877 to 1907.
There was a company that produced "Quaker Wood Stoves" but none of them feature a Quaker logo.
This is what I was told by an antique dealer, so take that at face value because honestly I have no way of knowing for sure.
Some rust, could easily be cleaned up and repainted if desired.
I have over 40 Quaker Oats items listed from the estate of a long-time collector.
Check these items out.
Many of them are extremely rare and only given to executives and board members.
I am happy to combine shipping. Simply go ahead and purchase your items and once I ship, I will refund you the difference between the total postage paid and actual postage.
