Up for auction is a rare incunabula page from Johann Schonsperger's "pirated" Latin edition of the Nuremberg Chronicle, printed in Augsburg, Germany, in 1497. Some of the images have been partially hand-colored in red near the time of publication. A few minor stains in areas, otherwise this attractive incunabula leaf is in very good condition. It measures approx. 11 1/2 x 7 3/4 inches.
