Description
Rare New Hall Pattern 562 Cobalt & Gold Acorns Tea Pot Circa 1795 - 1800Rare early British porcelain tea pot. Decorated in the 562 pattern by New Hall, with cobalt blue and gold gilt acorns, leaves and flowers. Circa 1795 to 1800.
Excellent condition with no post manufacture chips or cracks. Has wear to the very tip of the lid finial and a couple small spots on the handle, but otherwise almost no wear to the gilding. Has a few small in manufacture firing separations around the inner rim where the lid sits and one in the inner base, not visible with the lid on.
Measures approximately 10 5/8 inches long x 6 1/8 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
