Staffordshire Scottish Couple flatback Large Dog & Bird Figural Mid 1800's

Very Nice example of flatback Staffordshire figural couple with a Scottish theme.
Guy is wearing a kilt with Tartan. Lady is holding a bird in her hand and there is a dog in between both of them looking up at the guy.
Please see the detailed photos for exact condition. I took close ups of the areas of concern. As you know the majority of these old pieces have damage and repairs. There are several areas of hairline cracks that can be seen. At the base, in the white area, at the base of the lady in her yellow dress, also right across her neck. None of these go completely through, so more than likely aren't repairs. There is a hole through her hairpiece that looks intentional and original. It seems finished around it and in it.
The paint is very solid throughout, showing little wear and great hand painted details throughout, on their faces, the dog, her dress etc.
My educated guess as to age is probably 1850-1880's. I don't pretend to be a Staffordshire expert, there are literally books written about these pieces. If you see something that isn't described accurately or have a question please message me. I'm happy to update the listing.
