    Description

    Here we have an absolutely stunning set of small dishes or saucers decorated with a marbled agate glaze.  This is a set of 5 plates being sold individually.  Each of the plates are equally beautiful.  The brown, black, green and cream agate decoration is applied to both sides.  Any white spots in the photos are light reflections from the very shiny clear glaze.  The plate measures 5 ¼” in diameter and is in original mint condition with no damage or repairs.
    The underside of each
    saucer
    is recessed with the potter’s name, “Pichon”, impressed on the bottom.
    Pichon was a French potter dating to the late 1800s
    .
    These marbled agate dishes are extremely rare and any advanced collector would be pleased to add these to their collection.
